PME Projects offer PAT testing throughout the UK. PAT or Portable Appliance Testing is an important element of any UK company's Health and Safety precautions.

It is a legal requirement of employers to ensure that all reasonable measures have been taken to prevent the failure of portable electronic devices.

Where electrical appliances are used by employees, members of the public, are available for hire or are repaired or serviced, there is an obligation under the Health and Safety Act (1974) to provide regular maintenance and testing on appliances.
